Hi I’m sorry I know this isn’t rly what your blog is about but you give great advices. Do you think it’s okay not to have college degree? My parents want me to study but it’s my second year and I’m still failing I don’t want it anynore

Hi Darling,
I’m not here to discourage people from going to college but what I do know is that the most important thing in life is to be happy and true to yourself. Pick a goal, make it yours. If you can achieve it without a degree, go for it. If you’re genuinely unhappy with your studies at the moment, nobody said you had to go through with it, but have you considered maybe you’ve chosen the wrong path? you need to figure out who you are, what makes you happy before anything else. You don’t have to plan your whole life today, where’s the fun in that? nobody wants to get stuck in a miserable life forever, that’s for sure, but you’ll eventually have to work your ass off to get what you want. Do whatever makes you happy. I know being pressured by your parents is tough and I know you probably don’t want to disappoint them, but at the end of the day, this is your life and if you wake up everyday feeling sad, there’s no point. I’m not saying life is a fairytale, and I’m obviously not saying you’ll have it easy without a degree, but that degree won’t give you a perfect job right away either unless you’re one of the lucky few. You and only YOU can achieve your lifetime goal. Work your ass off, prove people wrong and do whatever feels right. Don’t stop until you can wake up everyday with a smile because you’re doing something you love, even if that won’t happen until you’re 30. Never waste your time doing something you’re not passionate about or something that won’t help you in any way reaching that goal. Life is unexpectable, some people spend 20 years doing the same thing everyday and either decide to start again because they’re not genuinely happy, and that’s okay. Don’t follow a path you’ve been given, just build your own. x
